Job ID : 21D8178607 Responsibilities- Compiling data and information from disparate sources into standard formats for ingestion into databases or algorithms- Writing or assisting in the development of Python scripts to process and associate large volumes of data- Developing analysis tools in Python ranging from data readers to interactive multivariate visualizations- Characterizing systems based on trend analysis for algorithm labeling and algorithm improvement- Interpreting algorithm performance data into actionable recommendations for software development teams- Writing formal analysis reports and participating in peer review- Designing new evaluation metrics or visualizations to gain a deeper understanding of algorithm and system performance- Assisting in database management efforts- Other duties as assigned Requirements- A Bachelor's degree in physical sciences, engineering, mathematics, or computer science- Experience using Python for large dataset analysis and visualization- Capability to follow logic in other languages (C++, shell scripts)- Demonstrated ability to work on Linux operating systems- The ability to obtain and maintain an active (in-scope) TS//SCI DoD security clearance- Ability to perform analysis tasks independentlyu00a0- Good verbal and written communication skills- Detail orientedCandidates who have any of the following skills will be preferred- Experience with the exploitation and analysis of Overhead Persistent InfraRed (OPIR) data- A current active DoD SECRET security clearance or higher- Experience building and analyzing performance of Machine Learning algorithms and statistical models- Experience using Git-based code management tools- Fluency with object-oriented software design principles- Experience working in an Agile development process- Experience supporting Missile Warning, Missile Defense, Battlespace Awareness, Technical Intelligence BenefitsSciTec offers a highly competitive salary and benefits package, including:- 3% Fully Vested Company 401K Contribution (no employee contribution required)- 100% company paid HSA Medical insurance, with a choice of 2 buy-up options- 80% company paid Dental insurance- 100% company paid Vision insurance- 100% company paid Life insurance- 100% company paid Long-term Disability insurance- Short-term Disability insurance- Annual Profit-Sharing Plan- Discretionary Performance Bonus- Paid Parental Leave- Generous Paid Time Off, including Holiday, Vacation, and Sick Pay- Flexible work hoursThe pay range for this position is $87,000 - $119,000 / year.u00a0SciTec considers several factors when extending an offer of employment, including but not limited to the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
