Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Internal Traveler - Cath Lab Boulder Community Health, Boulder, CO 80303 Full-Time Days, 40 hours per week Pay range is between $75-$85/hr. Rates are market dependent and will be determined at the time of written offer. Boulder Community Health is seeking a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Internal Traveler to provide direct patient care and assist physicians in performing invasive and specialized cardiac procedures within the Cardiac Catheterization. Possess the knowledge and skills necessary to manage patient care in a competent manner as outlined below. Demonstrate the ability to collaborate with the healthcare team to provide quality care in the procedural area. Provide On Call coverage for after-hours cases. Contracts are 13 weeks. Qualifications u2022ARRT and/or RCIS and/or RN licensure in good standing. u2022BLS required through the American Heart Association u2022ACLS required through the American Heart Association u2022RCES and/or CEPS preferred for EP Lab. u2022Minimum of one year experience in an Acute Care setting required and one year of Cardiac Cath Lab and/or Electrophysiology Lab experience preferred. Responsibilities u2022Provide patient care in conformance with current recognized practice, procedures, policies and established standards of care. u2022Enhance the quality and timeliness of patient care by working cooperatively with other personnel u2022Review all pre-procedural tests to assure patient safety. Incomplete or unusual findings are reported to a cardiologist and documented prior to the procedure. u2022Monitor patient conditions continuously for immediate recognition, interpretation and management. u2022Provide post-procedural care and maintenance of arterial and/or venous hemostasis until the patient is transferred to the next level of care. u2022Assist in patient recovery per hospital policy. u2022Calibrate, adjust, maintain and operate equipment as necessary to ensure the safe and accurate administration of tests and procedures. Monitor equipment and report any malfunction u2022Responsible for keeping all licenses and certifications up to date. u2022Stay informed of all new equipment brought in the Cath Lab and/or Electrophysiology Lab and take responsibility for letting the supervisor know if additional training or education is needed. u2022Responsible for covering after-hours on call shifts as necessary, including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays. Must be able to meet restricted on-call response time as defined by the hospital.
