WHAT YOUu2019LL BE DOING The Class A Boom Truck Driver is a key position at Jensen Precast. Every day youu2019re out in the field, safely delivering precast products. Reporting to dispatch, youu2019ll primarily work with customers, delivery drivers and the sales team. A highlight of your day to day will include: + Transport precast materials, secure loads and ensure that your truck does not exceed the maximum weight limits for transport. + Understand and are fully aware of all DOT guidelines and adhere to such regulations; maintain logs of working hours, of vehicle service and repair status following applicable state and federal regulations; check all load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate. + Ensure proper customer service by reviewing and comparing invoice to what product is loaded; collect delivery instructions from appropriate sources, verify instructions, and requested routes/drop off location; read and interpret maps to determine vehicle routes; drive truck to weigh stations before and after loading and along routes. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR Youu2019re a licensed Class A CDL driver with an NCCCO certification. You like to be home daily and paid hourly. Other desired qualifications include but are not limited to: + Preferred Experience: Between 2 and 5 years + 3 years of related experience, preferably in the construction industry + Ability to communicate with customers + Ability to minimize down time between deliveries + Familiarity with DOT requirements + Self-motivated and able to perform role with minimal direction Equal Opportunity Employer
