NYU Grossman School of Medicine, in affiliation with Woodhull Medical and Mental Health Center, is seeking a part-time Plastic Surgeon to join our dedicated and collaborative team. Woodhull Medical Center is a 400-bed Level II Trauma Center located in North Brooklyn, serving the diverse communities of Williamsburg, Bushwick, and Greenpoint as part of the NYC Health + Hospitals network.Position OverviewWe are looking for a skilled and compassionate plastic surgeon to provide high-quality clinical care on a flexible part-time basis (0.5 FTE). The successful candidate will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, deliver exceptional patient care, and contribute to the growth and development of our plastic surgery services.Key Responsibilities- Provide expert clinical care in both reconstructive and cosmetic plastic surgery- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes- Participate in patient education, follow-up care, and quality improvement initiatives- Support the growth and reputation of the plastic surgery programQualifications- Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible- Proven clinical expertise in reconstructive and cosmetic procedures- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work effectively in a diverse, urban healthcare environmentCompensation and BenefitsWe offer a competitive compensation package and a stimulating work environment, including: Annual base salary: $192,000-$210,000 403(b)/457 participation with a 10% employer contribution (no employee match required) Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) reimbursement of $3,000-$3,500, including one week of paid CME time Projected annual revenue sharing payments of up to $30,000 (contingent upon meeting productivity and compliance metrics) 24 annual vacation days, 12 sick days, and 12 recognized holidays Full NYU benefits package including medical, dental, prescription, disability, and life insurance coverage NYU college tuition remission for employees and dependents NYU faculty appointment Loan forgiveness options Medical malpractice coverage at no cost to the employee Visa sponsorshipNYU Langone Healthis an equal opportunity employer and committed to inclusion in all aspects of recruiting and employment.
