Heavy Equiptment Operator

Duties and Responsibilities: u00b7 Ability to operate a certain piece of equipment u00b7 Grease, oil and do daily maintenance of equipment u00b7 Hand dig around existing utilities when necessary u00b7 Trained to operate tampers, jackhammers, drills, and saws u00b7 Carry and load materials to be used on the job u00b7 Follow all company safety policies and practices u00b7 Report any equipment repairs needed to Foreman or Supervisor u00b7 Light repair and maintenance of tools and equipment u00b7 Assist in hauling equipment to and from job site u00b7 Clean up and restore work area u00b7 Wash and clean vehicles and equipment u00b7 Safety training as required by position u00b7 Paperwork filing and maintenance as needed u00b7 Other duties as assigned Essential Education and Qualifications: u00b7 Good verbal communication skills u00b7 Must have valid driveru2019s license u00b7 Valid Driveru2019s License u00b7 Valid DOT Health Card Required Skills: u00b7 Class A Driveru2019s License (CDL) Physical Demands: u00b7 Must be physically fit to endure the daily activity involved with the job u00b7 Must be able to work in all weather conditions u00b7 Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
