No County Kings Street Address Kingsboro Addiction Treatment Center 754 Lexington Avenue City Brooklyn State NY Zip Code 11221 Duties Description Oversees, administers, and manages a food and nutrition program(s).u2022 Develops, reviews, implements, and monitors nutrition program policies and procedures, including service forms and documentation; and oversees the development and maintenance of nutrition manuals and guidance materials.u2022 Conducts and supervises the inspection of food preparation, service areas, and meals; and develops, reviews, and oversees the implementation of corrective action plans to ensure compliance with nutrition plans, standards, regulations, and requirements. u2022 Serves as liaison with agency, facility, and/or community program staff and outside entities; and provides guidance, direction, and training on nutrition counseling, policies and procedures, and food preparation, sanitation, and safety standards.u2022 Consults with nutrition and healthcare staff to coordinate care, resolve issues and concerns, and ensure that individuals? nutritional needs are met. u2022 Represents the nutrition discipline on workgroups and committees.u2022 Develops nutrition program budgets, and monitors fund expenditures. Supervises Dietitians, and other food and nutrition staff.u2022 Conducts and reviews nutrition assessments; and develops, reviews, and evaluates special diet, menu, and food plans, including modifications, substitutions, and recipe standardization. u2022 Determines and oversees staff assignments; approves leave and tracks time and attendance; monitors and evaluates performance; identifies training needs and conducts or arranges for the provision of training; and participates in staff recruitment, selection, and orientation processes. Minimum Qualifications NUTRITION SERVICES ADMINISTRATOR 1Current registration with the CDR as an RD or certification in Dietetics-Nutrition by the NYSED; and two years of post-registration/certification professional administrative experience in a food or nutrition program, one year of which must have been at a supervisory level Additional Comments This is an hourly position with no guarantee of hours.
