What are your contributions to the team? u2022 Investigate design build issues and develop structural engineering and instrumentation installation solutions u2022 Author temporary engineering to resolve build issues in a timely manner u2022 Dispositioning aircraft non-conformances including rework instructions. (MRB) u2022 Perform aircraft and engineering drawing investigation and coordination with affected engineering disciplines, Quality Assurance and operations manufacturing representatives. u2022 Design Flight Test engineering change requests and coordinate with work package owners u2022 Author engineering to define structural special instructions or restrictions u2022 Design and Release Special Missions Engineering structural and systems installations How to thrive in this role? u2022 You must have a Bacheloru2019s degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited University. u2022 You must have a minimum of 10 years industry experience u2022 Per US ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) Requirements, must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder). u2022 Experience in Special Missions or Aftermarket modifications is required. u2022 Experience supporting manufacturing and aircraft modifications is required. u2022 Experience of leading a team of engineers is required. u2022 You must have a minimum of 15,000 hours on CATIA V5. u2022 Proficient in CATIA V5 Workbenches: Assembly Design, Part Design (Boolean Operations), Aerospace Sheetmetal, Tubing Design, Kinematics and Electrical Harness Routing are a plus. u2022 Experience in Siemens NX is a plus. u2022 Experience in Teamcenter PLM is a plus. u2022 You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. u2022 You must be a highly motivated, self-starter. u2022 You must have proficiency with MS Office tools, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
