DescriptionTriage Counselor, Emergency Psych Triage - Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital, Spokane WAThe Emergency Psychiatric Counselor functions under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse to provide psychiatric triage for selected patients. S/he is expected to demonstrate an advanced understanding of contemporary psychosocial principles in relation to his/her area of responsibility. Following orientation and defined training programs, satisfactorily performs skills as defined by departmental policy and orientation procedure.
