Join us Responsibilities: u2022 Be the reliable primary contact for warehouse movement and for customer and local transportation provider interactions u2022 Stock and organize product inventory for smooth warehouse operations u2022 Load and unload freight using material handling equipment, power industrial vehicles such as a forklift; maintain work equipment, inbound/outbound shipments, loads and picks material into/out of warehouse racks, between locations, Log inbound freight (UPS, Federal Express, Airborne, DHL) u2022 Maintain, stock and arrange office and warehouse supply inventory required for effective operation u2022 Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required u2022 Locate parts ensuring pallets are stable, observing pallet heights, material, racking, and equipment are not damages and material is not left in aisles u2022 Satisfies customer demands of internal customers to include the timely delivery or removal of designated materials to or from the supported shop. Delvers high priority materials ahead of routine materials previously requested u2022 Practices safe material handling techniques u2022 Completes trainings as required including safety training, certification and testing u2022 Reinforces culture of safety by utilizing all appropriate resources to safely preform all job functions u2022 Perform housekeeping as assigned u2022 May be required to purchase warehouse supplies to maintain building u2022 Assist in annual warehouse inventory u2022 Work with local, regional freights companies (setup times, hot shots, etc) u2022 Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments and freight accurately u2022 Safely operates assigned material handling equipment ensuring all equipment in use has been inspected and in safe condition. Report all accidents/unsafe conditions to supervisor u2022 Determines accurate material quantities by cycle counting Key competencies: u2022 Reinforces culture of safety by utilizing all appropriate resources to safely perform all function of the job u2022 Excellent planning and organizational skills u2022 Proven ability to follow through on commitments and details u2022 Strong computer skills (proficient in Microsoft Office Suite) u2022 Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills u2022 Strong customer service skills u2022 Proven team player Education/Experience: u2022 HS Diploma or equivalent required u2022 Previous Warehouse and power industrial vehicle experience such as a forklift. Forklift certification, preferred. This position has been designated as a Safety Sensitive role by the Company. Compensation: Base Pay Range : $ 22 to $27 per hour _Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages.
