Summary Job title: Intern Job ID: null Department: Fargo - CED Location: null-null Description Summary: CEDu2019s paid internships are for candidates who are customer service oriented and interested in pursuing a career that relates to Business-to-Business relationship sales or business management. Our highly structured 10-12 week internship program will provide candidates with working knowledge of the industry by exposing them to all aspects of the electrical distribution field through a combination of mentoring and on-the-job training. As a CED intern, you will gain experience in each aspect of company operations including: uf0b7 Business Management uf0b7 Warehousing & Logistics uf0b7 Inventory Control & Quality Assurance uf0b7 Developing Product Knowledge uf0b7 Customer Relations uf0b7 Purchasing uf0b7 Financial Planning uf0b7 Process & Operational Improvement uf0b7 Management & Project Management uf0b7 Inside Sales & Quotations uf0b7 Outside B2B Sales uf0b7 CED Business Philosophy Reports to: Profit Center Manager Minimum Qualifications: + Must be at least 18 years of age + Current, valid driveru2019s license with acceptable driving record + Authorization to work in the United States (without requiring work authorization sponsorship by CED now or in the future) Preferred Qualifications: + Strong negotiation skills + Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite software + Detail oriented + Ability to solve problems + Must be a self-starter who can handle a heavy volume of work and be able to handle multiple tasks at the same time Working Conditions: Conditions vary based on the intern's current segment of the training and will include warehouse, office and external environments. During some segments, activities will include lifting, sorting, standing, possible extreme heat/cold conditions. Office segments may include sitting for extended periods.
