Primary roles of this Security Officer position: u00b7 Computer experience and the ability to use a tablet to conduct security reports. u00b7 Ability to work Weekends (Saturday and Sunday) at some sites. u00b7 Conduct internal and external patrols throughout the facilities. u00b7 Deter, detect, report and record any criminal or unauthorized activity on client property. u00b7 Report safety and security incidents that they become aware of during their tour of duty. u00b7 Prevent loss of client property from fire or equipment failure. u00b7 Control access to client property. u00b7 Monitor CCTV. u00b7 Enforce the rules and regulations set forth by the client. u00b7 Extended lengths of standing and/or walking. To be considered for employment with Security Engineers, Inc., candidates must: u00b7 Be at least 21 years of age. u00b7 3+ years of Security, Military or Law Enforcement preferred. u00b7 Must have a Valid driveru2019s license (not expired) and clean MVR. u00b7 Must have reliable transportation for travelling to different sites. . Unarmed, but must be willing to obtain TN armed security license u00b7 Must complete the required security training and pass a comprehensive written exam. (Company Provided) u00b7 Must have no felony convictions, no convictions for misdemeanors involving moral turpitude (verified by a fingerprint based criminal background check). u00b7 Customer service experience preferred. u00b7 Be able to verify/explain all gaps in employment and not have been terminated from previous employment for other than honorable circumstances. u00b7 Be in general good health and physically able to perform the duties assigned. u00b7 Have a telephone or other reliable means of communication. u00b7 Have a high school education or suitable equivalent. u00b7 Be literate in the English language and be able to read and understand written orders and instructions, complete standard forms and logs, and compose reports that convey complete information.
