Janitorial SpecialistVirginia Beach, VAGeneral Description:Maintain clean, orderly, and safe office environment.Principal Duties and Responsibilities:- Responsible for all basic cleaning of our office building - Monday through Friday.- Cleans floors and rooms. including dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, picking up larger objects off the floor, and spot cleaning glass and windows.- Cleans restrooms, including restocking dispensers, emptying trash, cleaning and sanitizing fixtures, cleaning mirrors, spot cleaning partition doors and walls, sweeping and mopping tile floors, and cleaning toilets and urinals.- Vacuums, empties trash, and replaces liners.- Keep appliances clean and sanitary (e.g., microwaves, refrigerator, toaster oven)- Sets up, stocks, and maintains cleaning equipment and supplies.- Monitors and maintains sanitation and organization of assigned areas.- Routinely performs heavier cleaning such as thorough cleaning of inside of windows, blinds, and tile.- Performs additional duties as needed.- Complete task list assigned separately- Must have own transportationWork Experience Requirements:- Basic knowledge of cleaning products, including chemicals and supplies, and methods used in office cleaningEducational Requirements (or equivalent):High School DiplomaWorking Conditions:Physical dexterity: The job of an office cleaner is manually inclined, so it is important to be energetic and can lift up to 25 to 30 pounds without assistance.
