POSITION: BakerSCHEDULE: Full TimeLOCATION: Reno, Nevada, USASALARY: Will discuss with applicantTO APPLY:Direct Link: Page: note, employers may close jobs on the website at any time.SUMMARY:TheBakeris responsible for overseeing the production of all Peppermill baked goods, specialty breads and rolls and desserts.MINIMUM/PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:- Must be at least 18 years of age.- High school diploma or G.E.D., culinary apprenticeship or culinary school graduate.- Four or more years in high volume bakery production in Hotel/Casino Restaurant, or Bakery is preferred- Ability to stand throughout a shift or for extended periods of time.- Must be able to read/understand English and communicate with co-workers.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:- Prepares consistent and high-quality baked goods, specialty breads, rolls and desserts for all outlets within Peppermill.- Prepare all bakery items as needed, including breakfast pastries, Danish pastries with fillings, specialty breads and rolls, specialty desserts and show pieces.- Strives to attain excellence in making our baked products the best in Northern Nevada.- Checks and maintains all bakery equipment and reports any damaged or broken pieces to management.- Communicates with management regarding inventory stock levels.- Assists with maintaining all recipe files and production schedules for all Peppermill bakery items.- Follows all the sanitation procedures as set by the Company- Keeps management fully informed of all unsafe/unsanitary conditions, problems or unusual matters.- Displays superior teamwork abilities and assists fellow culinarians when needed.BENEFITS:Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Supplemental Coverage, Teledoc
