Linehaul Truck Driver

Linehaul drivers transport DOUBLES between service centers while primarily conducting meet and turns with drivers from other locations. This is a night shift position that is 100% no-touch. While some trips may require a layover, most shifts begin and end at the home terminal. _Bobtail drivers with local delivery experience are welcome to apply._ Job Responsibilities + Transport freight in safe and prompt manner + Interact with our clients and customers in a professional and courteous manner with limited supervision + Comply with Department of Transportation regulations and laws + Maintain responsibility for safety and security of company equipment and customer goods + Load and unload trailers and move freight across the terminal dock, either individually or with the assistance of a co-worker, with or without mechanical freight handling equipment, as required. + Record quantity and type of shipments using bills of lading, delivery receipts, and tally sheets. + Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations. + Hook and unhook trailers from tractors, including cranking levers to raise and lower landing gear. + Fuel trucks and tractors. + Perform all other work-related duties as assigned.
