No previoustraining or experience or education are required, nor on-the-jobtraining, as clear and simple instructions are given onsite bysupervising crew leaders. Ground Person duties include ground-levelpruning and trimming; also raking and chipping and mulching; alsoapplying safe fertilizers; also collecting and hauling out debris, andloading and unloading crew vehicles. Ground Persons observe for anyshrub or hedge problems and inform crew leaders. The position isentry-level and non-agricultural. Ground Persons attend a daily SafetyBriefing.4) The geographic area of this job is Mesa, Arizona, with workperformed at daily worksites in different towns of Maricopa County andPinal and Pima Counties. Crews leave each day for worksites from ourMesa headquarters.5) Pay is $19.42 per hour or higher.6) Overtime is offered regularly at $29.13 per hour or higher.7) No on-the-job training is necessary. Supervision and guidance areprovided to Ground Persons directly on the job by skilled Crew Managers.Ground Persons do not supervise any staff.8) Bartlett Tree Experts uses a single workweek as its standard forcomputing wages due.9) Employees will be paid each week on Friday. Payment isunconditionally free and clear.10) Bartlett Tree Experts does not provide housing.11) Bartlett Tree Experts will make all paycheck deductions required bylaw and only deductions required by law, such as income tax and socialsecurity; no other deductions are made from the worker's paycheck.12) Bartlett Tree Experts will reimburse workers who complete 50percent of the work period covered by this job order the cost oftransportation and daily subsistence and lodging from the place whichthe worker has come to work for the employer, whether in the U.S. orabroad to the place of employment, consistent with 20 CFR655.20(j)(l)(i).13) Bartlett Tree Experts will also provide or pay for the worker'scost of return transportation and daily subsistence from the place ofemployment to the place from which the worker, disregarding interveningemployment, departed to work for the employer if the worker completesthe certified employment period or is dismissed for any reason by theemployer before the employment period ends, consistent with 20 CFR655.20(j)(l)(ii).And where a worker must travel to obtain a visa so that the worker mayenter the USA to come to work for Bartlett Tree Experts, the employerwill pay for the transportation and subsistence costs of that part oftravel too. The amount of transportation reimbursement will be equal tothe most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distancesinvolved. The amount of money that the worker will receive for dailysubsistence will be at least $16.28 per day during travel to a maximumof $68.00 per day with receipts.14)Bartlett Tree Experts provides daily transportation to all worksites.Job crews leave from the Mesa headquarters for worksites each day. If anemployee cannot get to the Mesa headquarters, they can be picked up athome by the work crew, and returned home the same day.
