Description We are looking for a skilled mid-level Litigation Associate Attorney with over three years of experience to join our mid-sized law firm client's team in Scottsdale, Arizona. This role involves handling diverse commercial litigation cases, including business disputes, real estate conflicts, and bankruptcy matters. The position is primarily office-based, with occasional opportunities to work remotely. Responsibilities: u2022 Represent clients in commercial litigation cases, including business disputes, real estate issues, and bankruptcy proceedings. u2022 Draft and file motions, briefs, and other legal documents with clarity and precision. u2022 Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and client interests. u2022 Manage all aspects of discovery, including preparing and responding to requests for documents and interrogatories. u2022 Participate in depositions, mediations, and court hearings to advocate for client interests. u2022 Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop effective legal strategies. u2022 Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations to ensure compliance and effective representation. u2022 Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients, when appropriate. u2022 Provide clear and regular communication to clients regarding case progress and outcomes. Requirements u2022 Must have at least 3 years of experience in civil litigation. u2022 Active license to practice law in the state of Arizona is required. u2022 Strong skills in drafting motions, briefs, and other legal documentation. u2022 Proven ability to manage discovery processes effectively, including document production and interrogatories. u2022 Excellent legal research and analytical skills. u2022 Strong oral and written communication abilities, including courtroom advocacy. u2022 Demonstrated capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
