The Department of Clinical Sciences at Colorado State University invites applications for a Clinical Assistant Professor in Small Animal Internal Medicine ( SAIM )u2014a role that blends clinical excellence, teaching, and scholarly growth in a top academic program. Youu2019ll be part of a dynamic SAIM team that plays a vital role in the Veterinary Teaching Hospital ( VTH ), managing complex cases and delivering cutting-edge care to companion animals. The faculty in Small Animal Internal Medicine take great pride in providing a collegial work environment and outstanding house officer training. We support the Teaching Hospital ( VTH ) by providing care that is integral to the hospitalu2019s daily operations, providing advanced diagnostic and therapeutic expertise for companion animals, and are a highly valued member of the VTH community. Additionally, the CSU VTH research community is vibrant and dynamic, offering many opportunities to engage in team science, clinical trials, and translational research We are seeking a colleague who is equally committed to creating a great workplace culture, discovery, and providing excellence in clinical care, teaching, and mentorship. In this position, you will be asked to provide up to 34 weeks of clinical service on the SAIM service and teach and mentor DVM students, interns, and residents in the clinical and classroom settings. You will also be encouraged to engage in scholarly development and collaborative clinical research. This is a three-year contract appointment with the potential for renewal or transition into a continuing faculty line.
