Overview The Assembler at Cook Winston-Salem is responsible to perform minute, fabrication, assembly and/or packaging of gastrointestinal medical devices. Responsibilities u2022 Fabrication of raw materials into specified products per specifications and drawings and all other associated documentation through various mechanical and/or manual techniquesu2022 Check product for overall quality and workabilityu2022 Perform various inspection and/or testing as requiredu2022 Complete any necessary documentationu2022 Perform various computer functionsu2022 Deliver specified product to designated areau2022 Perform daily and weekly clean up duties per CMA policyu2022 Assist engineering for the introduction of new or improved products into productionu2022 Interacts with other departments, support groups, engineers, vendors, and plant visitsu2022 Assist in training new employees in department u2022 Maintain regular and punctual attendance u2022 Must maintain company quality and quantity standards Qualifications u2022 High School Diploma or GEDu2022 Minimum 18 years of age Physical Requirements: u2022 Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodationsu2022 Good manual dexterity & Visual Acuity to work with small partsu2022 Majority of the day is spent frequently moving around/sitting in a
