This position requires demonstration of competency for all activities that either directly or indirectly affect product safety and quality. The individual will work onsite at our state of art Innovation and Manufacturing facility in here Winston-Salem, NC. Starting hourly rate is $30.27-$36.27/Hour plus bonus potential and variety of benefits offered to eligible employees in the US. HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE: u2022 Adhere to all company and OSHA safety rules, policies, and regulations u2022 Maintain a clean and organized work area u2022 Actively perform scheduled maintenance on all plant and production equipment u2022 Quickly respond to and correct equipment issues u2022 Advanced knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, ladder logic (minor code changes), and related controls u2022 Troubleshoot, repair, and replace VFDs, servos, camera/vision systems, on-line production printers, motors, robots, and other machine control devices u2022 Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics and drawings u2022 Proactively look for eqpt trends, root causes & variances. Develop action plans for & implement improvements u2022 Troubleshoot pneumatic/hydraulic systems u2022 Develop projects and process improvement initiatives. u2022 Cross-train Maintenance team on skills as appropriate u2022 Positive demeanor, willingness, and desire to learn as well as to work in a team environment u2022 Basic use of power tools and hand tools u2022 Additional duties as assigned WHATu2019S SPECIAL ABOUT THE TEAM: Are you ready to be part of an outstanding Maintenance team? SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: none Qualifications SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL: Skills u2022 Advanced electrical controls skills u2022 Mechanical skills u2022 This position will require the employee to operate a motorized powered lift i.e. Forklift, Scissor lift, one man lift, etc. An MVR (Motor Vehicle Report) will determine an employee's eligibility to operate these lifts. A Valid driver's license is required for this position. Experience: u2022 8+ years of maintenance experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Education: u2022 High school diploma or GED equivalent. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: u2022 Associateu2019s degree in Automation/Electronics or Industrial Maintenance Technology/Mechatronics u2022 Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or other regulatory experience u2022 5+ years of work experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment u2022 Food manufacturing or packaging experience, and/or blending equipment, batching operation systems PHYSICAL DEMANDS: In general, the following physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
