What You'll Do As a Door Conversion Technician, you'll be atthe heart of our production floor - transforming raw materials intofully prepped, custom-fit hollow metal, stainless steel, and wood doors.Every day brings something new as you: Customize and prep doors withhardware, glass kits, lites, and sizing modifications. Interpret shoporders, templates, and drawings to bring our designs to life. Work witha variety of tools: welding, routing, grinding, sanding, and painting.Operate forklifts and manage materials across the shop. Collaborate withteammates and contribute ideas for process improvement. You'll Use and Learn Arc welders, grinders, sanders,band saws, routers, plasma cutters, and more. Techniques in glazing,mortising, painting, and even light fabrication. Best-in-class safetypractices and Lean Manufacturing tools. What We're Looking ForSelf-motivated, hands-on individuals who are: Mechanically inclined withsolid problem-solving skills. Able to read technical drawings andinterpret shop specs. Comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds and working onyour feet. Team players who care about safety, quality, and doing thejob right. Experience with welding, woodworking, or fabrication is aplus, but we'll train motivated candidates with the right attitude. WhyLaForce?
