Staff Accountant

Description We are looking for a dedicated Accountant to join our client in York, Pennsylvania. This position is essential to ensuring accurate financial reporting and analysis, enabling strategic decision-making across the company. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment and bring a strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities: u2022 Prepare and consolidate financial statements, including monthly profit and loss reports, cash flow summaries, and other key financial documents for multiple divisions. u2022 Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities, such as reconciliations, analysis, and preparation of supporting schedules. u2022 Analyze financial data to create forecasts and models that aid in operational and strategic planning. u2022 Present monthly financial results to management. u2022 Lead the preparation and development of the annual budget, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company goals. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting or a related field is required. u2022 2 + years of experience in an accounting role; experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred. u2022 Proficiency in financial analysis and advanced Excel functions. u2022 Strong knowledge of journal entries, general ledger management, and accruals.
