Responsibilities include:u2022 Perform preliminary reviews of PPAP submissions for completeness and compliance with AIAG andu00a0customer-specific requirements.u2022 Support the management of supplier corrective action requests (CARs), including tracking open issuesu00a0and reviewing 8D reports.u2022 Collaborate with the Supplier Quality / Development Engineer(s) to escalate non-conformance andu00a0repeat issues.u2022 Assist in the preparation and execution of supplier audits and performance reviews.u2022 Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of supplier approvals, scorecards, and audit findings.u2022 Communicate with suppliers regarding quality issues, missing documentation, and deadlines.u2022 Help coordinate and track Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) milestones with suppliers.u2022 Use tools such as 5-Why, Ishikawa (Fishbone Diagrams), and Pareto Analysis for problem-solvingu00a0support.u2022 Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer-specific requirements in all supplieru00a0quality activities.u2022 Monitor supplier performance and provide feedback to suppliers.u00a0u2022 Lead re-sourcing efforts in support of corporate quality, delivery, and productivity goals.Supplier Relationship Managementu2022 Establish relationships with various suppliers across all commodities/categories.u2022 Provide technical support to the supplier during the development of new custom and outsourcedu00a0finished parts.u2022 This includes supporting plastic injection molding, die casting, coatings, outsourced lamps,u00a0wiring/harnessing, and electronics components & assemblies.u2022 Work together with the department Supplier Quality / Development Engineers team to help sourceu00a0parts at the appropriate supplier from a technical perspective.u2022 Help coordinate supplier audits and/or self-assessments to assure that the suppliers can produceu00a0various parts per the drawing/technical requirements.u2022 Position required compliance with the Technology Control Plan and the Federal Export Control Policyu00a0established for the Corporation.Skills:u2022 Strong attention to detail and documentation review.u2022 Basic understanding of quality standards (e.g., IATF 16949).u2022 Effective written and verbal communication.u2022 Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of quality systems or ERP software is au00a0plus.u2022 Familiarity with AIAG Core Tools (PPAP, APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC).u2022 Exposure to GD&T and measurement systems preferred.u2022 Problem-solving skills with experience in corrective action methodologies (8D, 5-Why, etc.).REQUIREMENTS:u2022 Associate degree or higher in Engineering, Quality or a related technical field (bachelor's preferred).u00a0u2022 1 -- 3 years in quality or supplier-facing role in the automotive or manufacturing industry.Qualified candidates may apply by clicking,
