We seek dedicated MD or DO professionals who are board-certified or board-eligible in psychiatry. Candidates holding J1 and H1 visas are encouraged to apply. Opportunities Available: + Roles in inpatient psychiatry and consultative liaison psychiatry, along with PHP/IOP. + The selected candidate will also serve as core faculty for our upcoming psychiatry residency program, in collaboration with the University of Central Florida. + Academic rank will be based on the candidate's experience and academic achievements. About the Behavioral Health Service: + The Pavilion is a 73-bed licensed inpatient behavioral healthcare center offering consultation liaison service, PHP/IOP clinic, and ECT service. + It provides inpatient treatment for adults 18+ with acute illnesses requiring 24-hour medical care, operates as a certified Baker Act Receiving Facility, and accepts voluntary and direct admissions. + In addition to the current inpatient services, implementation has begun for a group-based intensive outpatient service to be delivered on the campus of The Pavilion + Although physically adjoined to West Florida Hospital, The Pavilion is a separate facility, ensuring confidentiality and patient privacy + The Pavilion offers comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and treatment programs in an environment of comfort, caring and privacy. The facility features comfortable patient rooms, a private dining room and a specially designed occupational therapy department.
