SUMMARY OF POSITION The Neuroscience Sales Specialist will be responsible for promoting and representing Almatica products in their respective sales territory. The Neuroscience Sales Specialist will be the territory business owner, responsible for implementing approved sales strategies and executing tactics to generate product utilization and achieve sales goals. ORGANIZATION STRUCTUREThis position will report directly to a Regional Business Manager - Almatica and will work in close partnership with other members of their sales team. RESPONSIBILITIESAbility to comprehend knowledge that includes disease state, product profile, clinical studies, and utilizing that knowledge to deliver information in a sales environment Demonstrate the ability to learn, analyze, understand and effectively convey complex informationDevelop and execute territory business plans for assigned brands while achieving consistent sales growth within the territory Promote products ethically and within compliance, based on company's sales process and approved marketing strategy Build and maintain strong business relationships with key accounts across multiple settingsDevelop and nurture professional relationships with appropriate HCPs and other healthcare professionals and office staffAchieve sales goals and drive appropriate utilization of assigned products through effective use of the Almatica sales modelConsistent execution of sales and brand strategies, including effective and compliant utilization of available resources (i.e. approved sales aids and materials, educational lunches, speaker programs)Leverage expertise and knowledge to anticipate and effectively manage business opportunities within their assigned territoryOvercome access challenges with HCPs and key stakeholders within territoryDemonstrate a results-oriented approach and effective time management skills Develop an effective territory routing plan to optimize call plan attainmentConsistently record sales activity within CRM systemUtilize time and other resources to drive territory growthLeverage territory sales data to focus efforts on high value opportunities QUALIFICATIONSMinimum of Bachelor's Degree in relevant fieldSales ability with 1-3+ years' sales experience in pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry.Experience in one or more of the following areas preferred but not limitd to: family medicine, internal medicine, Neurology or PsychiatryProven track record of consistent high performance in roleSelf-motivated, driven, enthusiastic candidates with an eagerness to work as a team-player, a self-starter and an independent thinkerTrack record of high integrity and honestyPossess the aptitude to work autonomouslyAbility to understand and communicate scientific and technical medical informationStrong communication and interpersonal skills Passion for excellence and willingness to embrace competitionDemonstrated success in persuasion and ability to influenceEffective administrative / organizational skills, including proficiency with Microsoft OfficeCandidates must be able to successfully pass background, motor vehicle (must possess a valid U.S. driver's license and a safe driving record) and drug screen checksWhen necessary, travel overnight including within territory, to conferences, training and sales meetings GMP DECISION-MAKING AUTHORITY
