Duties & Responsibilities: u2022 Responsible for administering a comprehensive training and development program in partnership with the park training department and shared services for all team members within the Operations Division, to include but not limited to: Department Training, On-The-Job Training & follow up, Train-The-Trainer, Team Member Development. u2022 Responsible for Auditing Trainers in-park, ensuring team members are receiving the proper information u2022 Ability to work independently without supervision. u2022 Willing to cross-train and assist with all other duties as assigned by Operations Management. Organizational Structure: u2022 Reports to Department Training Managerial. The Ideal Candidate Must Possess the following: u2022 Must be at least 18 years of age. u2022 Self-driven and strategic professional with the ability to select, train, and lead a diverse team. u2022 Organized and meticulously detail-oriented. Strong initiative. Energetic. Outgoing. Can-do attitude. u2022 A clear criminal background record and valid state driveru2019s license. u2022 Strong leadership, organization and computer skills (Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). u2022 Coaching or teaching experience is preferred. u2022 Excellent oral, written, and communication skills, with the ability to teach a group new concepts or processes. u2022 Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. u2022 Must be able to walk long distances, stand for long periods, have excellent vision (corrected, if applicable).Cedar Fair Entertainment Company is an equal opportunity employer.
