TRC Talent Solutionis hiring for a night shiftExtrusion Operatorto join our clients production team inDecatur.This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading manufacturer in consumer grade plastic products!As an Extrusion Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining extrusion machinery to produce high-quality products according to specifications. Shift:5:45 pm - 6:00 am on a 2/2/3 rotation Compensation & Benefits: ​​​​​​$18.50/hr + $1 shift differentialWeekly PayHealth InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsurancePaid Time Off (PTO)401(K)Basic Life and AD&D InsuranceShort-Term Disability (STD)Basic Long-Term Disability (LTD) Key Responsibilities: Operate extrusion machinery and equipment according to established procedures.Monitor the extrusion process to ensure product quality and consistency.Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of extrusion spect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.Record production data and complete necessary documentation.Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.Maintain a clean and organized work area. Qualifications: Previous experience as an extrusion operator or in a similar role preferred.Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment.Good communication and problem-solving skills.Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds for extended periods.
