Unlock your potential Job Summary and Qualifications As an Echo Vascular Technologist, you will be responsible for the performance of non-invasive cardiovascular procedures including but not limited to adult/pediatric echocardiography and vascular procedures. You will work closely with other healthcare team members to facilitate exceptional patient care and efficient completion of diagnostic studies while also promoting optimal unit operations and acting as a preceptor. You will adhere to customer service standards while maintaining a clean, efficient, and safe work environment. + You will utilize open, professional communication (verbal, non-verbal, and written) to directly interact with physicians, patients, guests, and other health team members + You will make decisions of moderate difficulty that reflect both knowledge and good judgement + You will handle confidential information regarding patient activities + You will demonstrate an effective working knowledge of all equipment used in Cardiology and related to their job functions + You will demonstrate competency in arrhythmia interpretation What qualifications you will need: + One year experience performing adult echocardiograms u2013 preferred + Proficiency in Stress Echo, TEE u2013 preferred + Proficiency in Carotid ultrasound, Trans Cranial Doppler studies u2013 preferred + Associateu2019s Degree in Ultrasound Technology education + Basic Life Support (BLS) as per St. Davidu2019s Healthcare policy + Registry in Cardiac Ultrasound (RDCS) from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) + Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) from ARDMS or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) from CCI St. Davidu2019s Medical Center (, part of St. Davidu2019s HealthCare, is a comprehensive medical facility with three locations: St. Davidu2019s Medical Center, Heart Hospital of Austin (, and St. Davidu2019s Georgetown Hospital (.
