Dental Equipment Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Dental Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our dental clinic in Westchester County. This position is responsible for performing general maintenance and repair tasks around the facility, as well as providing preventive and minor maintenance for dental equipment to ensure smooth daily operations.Perform general facility maintenance including light carpentry, painting, plumbing, and minor electrical workInspect and maintain clinical equipment, including dental chairs, compressors, suction units, autoclaves, and X-ray machinesTroubleshoot and perform minor repairs on dental equipment; coordinate with external vendors/technicians for specialized repairs as neededConduct preventive maintenance schedules for all dental and building equipmentMonitor and maintain basic supplies and parts needed for repairsEnsure safety standards and compliance with regulatory requirementsRespond promptly to staff requests for repairs or assistanceAssist with small renovation or improvement projects within the clinicEducation/ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical training a plus.Proven experience as a handyman, maintenance technician, or similar role.Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesBasic knowledge of dental equipment operation and maintenance preferred (training can be provided).Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize multiple tasks.Good communication and teamwork skills.Working ConditionsMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks related to maintenance work.USD $76,000.00/Yr.USD $60,800.00/Yr.
