Job Description

Oregon Health & Science University is Oregon’s #1 hospital. The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is part of the health care team in locations throughout OHSU. The CNA provides direct or general nursing care to patients from admission through discharge under the direction of a licensed nurse and within the parameters of the state licensing board. The CNA assists the patient, patients' families, nursing staff and other support staff to assure the delivery of safe, quality care in alignment with the mission and vision of Doernbecher Children's Hospital and OHSU.Current unit 13KPV Adult Oncology will be transitioning to VPV Surgical Oncology. Our primary teams are Surgical Oncology, General Surgery, Gynecology Oncology, and Radiation Oncology. The new unit will have 60+ beds to expand our exceptional care for our patients.Current unit 14K Adult Bone Marrow Transplant will be transitioning to VPV Medical Oncology. Our primary teams are Medical Oncology/Cellular Therapy: Stem cell Transplant, Immune cell therapy including CAR-T and TIL, Gene Therapy, Chemotherapy, GVHD, pain crisis, failure to thrive, end of life.
