Civil/Environmental Engineering Intern

Carollo’s vision is to be the BEST water consulting firm and you’ll find that Carollo is also the best place for you to build your career.Perform engineering work in various engineering fields (water and wastewater treatment, conveyance infrastructure, and engineering services during construction)Work on engineering designsAssist preparing reportsDevelop plans and specifications, and cost estimates for various projectsCheck submittals for performance or conformity with plans and specificationsAssist with the preparation of technical memoranda, reports and electronic deliverablesData entry and analysisParticipate in field activities such as site investigations, and pilot testingHigh school diploma or equivalentCurrently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil or environmental engineering fieldStrong verbal and written communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Word and ExcelExperience and/or coursework in water/wastewater treatment and conveyanceFinishing or completed junior year of collegePrevious related internship experience a plus, but not requiredExperience using engineering software (AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Bluebeam, ArcGIS, pipeline modeling)$20 to $33 per hour. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
