Embody NISSC III’s values of readiness and reliability—help drive communications, command, and crisis response from this legendary stronghold!Provides advanced technical leadership and expertise for the Alternate National Military Command Center (ANMCC), managing daily onsite 8x5 support and 24/7/365 on-call system administration and user support to ensure mission system availability and operator effectiveness.Oversees the execution of: Management and reportingSystem administrationVulnerability managementO-Level maintenanceTest support tasks in full compliance with technical manuals, security protocols, and government standards.Delivers remote troubleshooting and support for Strategic PDS-Ms at connected off-site locations, guaranteeing operational continuity even when the primary on-site individual is not present.Analyzes incident data and operational trends to enhance service delivery.Prepares and validates all required deliverables—such as continuity binders, metrics inputs, incident and outage reports, and technical documentation.Establishes best practices and continuous improvement standards for all ANMCC mission assurance operations.THESE POSITIONS ARE CONTINGENT UPON AWARD OF CONTRACT. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent DoD/military training7-10 years of experienceAbility to work with highly sensitive and classified DoD systems and informationCollect, analyze, and report surveillance and performance metricsPrepare meeting agendas, materials, minutes, and monthly task reportsMaintain documentation for O&M roles, continuity binders, and proceduresDocument issues and propose/support corrective actions and system changes (including Deficiency Reports, Artifact Defects, and AFTO Form 22 recommendations)Manage and track System Administration/User Support actions via Incident Reports (IR)Conduct standup meetings; interface with local government coordinators for workload prioritizationCreate, manage, and delete user/group accounts and security policiesProvide one-on-one and remote technical support across multiple sites and systems (including via phone/email/remote logon)Proactive monitoring of system and link performance; rapid troubleshooting and restorationPerform system backups, restores, startups, shutdowns, error detection, log analysis, and recovery/restoration in line with applicable Technical Manuals and proceduresSupport for remote and telephonic IT assistanceSupport for installation, test events, site prep, validation, and system integration activitiesExecute maintenance per technical documentation, and coordinate with Remedy or site-specific work order systems as applicablePerform ISSO (Information System Security Officer) duties per DoDI 8500.01; monitor and remediate system vulnerabilitiesUpdate antivirus signatures, analyze threats, implement vulnerability management plans, and report security event artifactsEnsure timely implementation of IAVMs, CTOs, and threat assessmentsCertifications / Clearance:Top Secret (TS) security clearanceDoD 8570/8140 baseline certification for Information Assurance Technical roles is typically required (e.g., Security+, CISSP, or similarOther Qualifications:Ability to operate independently and as part of a cross-functional O&M teamExperience supporting 24x7 mission operations or on-call technical support in classified environmentsAbility to interface with multiple stakeholders, including military, government civilians, and contractorsDocumentation, communication, and process improvement skillsTHESE POSITIONS ARE CONTINGENT UPON AWARD OF CONTRACT. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
