Description: Research Science Manager u2013 FortWorthCodesandTools (Signature Integration u2013 Aeronautics) Location: FortWorth, TX Clearance: Active Secret (Topu2011Secret preferred) LockheedMartin Aeronautics seeks a Research Science Manager to lead multiple softwareu2011development groups that support the ADP, Fu201135, and IFG lines of business. Reporting to the SignatureIntegrationSeniorManager within the SignatureManagement&Survivability Directorate, the successful candidate will be a recognized technical leader and expert in RCS/IR reduction and low observable hardware development/integration. The manager must quickly master the CodesandTools teamu2019s tools, scope, technical requirements, risks, and delivery milestones while delivering high quality results. Superior verbal and written communication skills are essential; the incumbent must convey complex technical concepts clearly in customer briefings, technical reviews, and written reports. Responsibilities u2022 On site daily management of a multidisciplinary team through all phases of the software lifecycle. u2022 Coordinate and implement staffing strategy by supplying people, processes, tools, and technical support. u2022 Manage Agile/SAFe delivery metrics, ensuring timely delivery of code, automated tests, and documentation. u2022 Conduct detailed design and performance reviews; establish realistic task estimates and enforce bestu2011practice coding standards. u2022 Champion DevSecOps (CI/CD pipelines, secure Git/GitLab workflows) in a classified environment. u2022 Act as the primary technical liaison for customer briefings, technical reviews, and crossu2011functional coordination with program and systems stakeholders. Basic Qualifications: u2022 STEM Bacheloru2019s degree (Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related field). u2022 Leadership experience in diverse and dynamic team environments u2022 Software architecture and design experience. u2022 Hands on DevSecOps experience (CI/CD, Git/GitLab). u2022 Proficiency in an object oriented language (C++, Java, Go, or equivalent). u2022 Active Secret clearance (investigation within the past 5years). u2022 Experience delivering large scale signature data processing software. u2022 Full software development lifecycle ownership (requirements through sustainment). Desired Skills: u2022 Experience with relational databases and SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL). u2022 AI/ML u2013 building/training agents, converting models to production services, integrating with OMS framework. u2022 Ability to develop Basis of Estimate (BOE) and produce credible costu2011schedule estimates. u2022 Control Account Manager (CAM) experience. u2022 Technical proposals and capture activities experience u2022 Experience running sprints, story point estimation, and continuous integration in a secure environment. u2022 Masteru2019s degree u2022 Strong interpersonal and presentation skills (verbal & written). Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
