Description The National Security Sectoru2019s Decision Advantage Solutions Business Area at Leidos Inc. is seeking an Industrial Security Representative (ISR) to work in our Orlando, FL facility. The position will be part of the Leidos National Security Sector combines technology-enabled services and mission software capabilities for defense and intel customers in the areas of cyber, logistics, security operations, and decision analytics. As one of the five Business Areas in the National Security Sector, Decision Advantage Solutions accelerates the production, integration, and analysis of multi-domain mission data to deliver a decisive edge for customers engaged in intelligence operations and combat support. The Industrial Security Representative (ISR) supports the Facility Security Officer (FSO) in safeguarding classified information, sensitive materials, and organizational assets in compliance with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM). Responsibilities include managing clearance processes, foreign visitor and facility access, special access programs, and ensuring adherence to federal laws and directives for classification management. The ISR develops and implements security policies, conducts briefings and debriefings, and may be appointed as a Contractor SAP Security Officer (CSSO) or Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO) based on program needs. Primary Responsibilities: u2022 Assist the FSO in implementing and managing the facilityu2019s security program in compliance with NISPOM, u2022 Develop, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Emergency Action Plans (EAPs) for security operations. u2022 Conduct security self-inspections, apply risk mitigation methodologies, support customer assessments, and implement security measures to meet requirements. u2022 Manage personnel security processes, including nomination interviews, validation of access requirements, and submission of investigative requests. u2022 Conduct security education and training briefings, including initial indoctrination, annual refresher training, and termination briefings, emphasizing unauthorized disclosure awareness and reporting. u2022 Maintain accurate records in security databases such as the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) or equivalent systems. u2022 Support the management of Special Access Programs (SAPs) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) areas, including co-utilization agreements and compliance monitoring. u2022 Conduct Personnel Security processing actions including requesting, reviewing, approving, and submitting clearances packages up to and including Program Access Requests (PARs) and SCI nomination packages in accordance with customer requirements. u2022 Collaborate with other departments and external organizations to ensure seamless communication and compliance with COMSEC requirements. u2022 Investigate and report security violations, compromises, and unauthorized disclosures in accordance with applicable regulations. u2022 Collaborate with government and industry partners to ensure compliance with security requirements and best practices. u2022 Work as a team player, demonstrate flexibility, and excellent organizational skills. Basic Qualifications u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline or 4 u2013 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 u2013 6 years of prior relevant experience u2022 Experience in SCIF / SAPF administration policies and procedures u2022 Thorough understanding of DoD personnel security requirements and ability to apply Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705, DoDM 5205.07, and NISPOM guidance to the facilityu2019s security plans and procedures. u2022 Possess knowledge of Access Control Systems and Intrusion Detection Systems u2022 Ability to interpret company and government security policies and apply them to program operations u2022 Experience conducting TS indoctrinations and refresher briefings, as appropriate u2022 Experience supporting a COMSEC program u2022 Candidates must possess an active Top Secret clearance Preferred Qualifications u2022 Accreditation/certifications as a Facility Security Officer or Communication Security (COMSEC) u2022 Experience drafting subcontractor DD254s u2022 Experience developing and implementing security Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and emergency action plans u2022 Professional Industrial Security Affiliations u2022 Resourceful in solving programs and capitalizing on opportunities u2022 Experience with SCIF construction u2022 Strong Customer Service Experience Background If you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
