Description We are looking for an experienced Controller & HR Manager to join our team in Warren, Ohio. This executive role is crucial to overseeing financial operations and human resource management, ensuring both compliance and efficiency across the organization. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in strategic planning by delivering accurate financial insights and fostering a positive and productive workplace culture. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage all accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and the general ledger. u2022 Prepare detailed financial statements and management reports with accuracy and timeliness. u2022 Create and oversee budgets, forecasts, and cash flow analyses to support organizational planning. u2022 Ensure compliance with state and federal tax regulations and lead audit processes. u2022 Analyze financial data to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements. u2022 Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, vendors, and auditors to support business operations. u2022 Administer payroll systems, benefits programs, and employee records while ensuring accuracy and compliance. u2022 Coordinate recruitment efforts, onboarding procedures, and performance evaluations to support workforce development. u2022 Monitor compliance with labor laws and workplace safety regulations. u2022 Promote a collaborative and positive company culture focused on integrity, safety, and teamwork. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. u2022 At least 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably within a manufacturing environment. u2022 Familiarity with human resource practices and employment regulations. u2022 Proficiency in using Sage 50 or similar accounting software. u2022 Strong analytical and organizational skills to manage complex financial data. u2022 Effective communication abilities to collaborate with internal teams and external partners. u2022 Leadership qualities and problem-solving skills to address financial and HR challenges. u2022 Preferred certifications such as CPA or CMA, though not mandatory.
