Staff Accountant

Description Grow your financial career as a Staff Accountant with on of our thriving companies The responsibilities for this Staff Accountant role consist of handling general accounting operations such as assisting with accounts payable/receivable activities, reviewing general ledger accounts, preparing financial reports, assisting with financial research, maintaining internal controls, overseeing the inventory catalog, providing customer service as needed and collaborating with financial and executive leadership. The ideal candidate for this role should have possessed great day-to-day accounting abilities in compliance with legal industry standards and firm policies. We are looking for someone with strong problem-solving skills and can maintain accurate financial records and contribute to the overall financial health of the firm. Everyday Responsibilities u00b7 Prepare journal entries, general ledger reconciliations and account analysis u00b7 Assist with daily accounting functions u00b7 Reconcile and monitor collection accounts u00b7 Ensure compliance with applicable standards (GAAP) u00b7 Reconcile bank statements and financial accounts u00b7 Monitor the record keeping system u00b7 Prepare daily credit card transactions u00b7 Assist with audits and provide supporting documentation needed Requirements The ideal Staff Accountant will preferably have an Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.
