You will be responsible for developing system level artifacts and engaging with customers, mission partners, and other stakeholders to satisfy and fulfill customer directed objectives As a member of the Systems Engineering team you will: u2022 Perform in an accelerated, collaborative, dynamic small team environment, closely integrated with customers and contractors u2022 Ensure consistency of requirements and traceability back to customer objectives u2022 Develop the verification details for the requirements to ensure that the system is able to meet the requirements and support the execution of these verification activities u2022 Support the successful execution of program Interim Design Reviews u2022 Development of systems engineering documentation such as feature description documents, trade studies, Interface Control Documents. #LI-CS1 Basic Qualifications: u2022 Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. u2022 Demonstrates an Agile Mindset willing to adapt in a fast paced dynamic environment u2022 Experience working with Agile teams leveraging Scrum or Kanban u2022 Ability to communicate effectively and work in a collaborative environment u2022 Experience developing Operations Procedures and training materials u2022 Active Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain an SCI Desired Skills: u2022 Domain Experience and Understanding of one of the following Command and Control (C2), Mission Management, Planning and Scheduling, Orbital Mechanics, SSA (Space Situational Awareness) u2022 Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) and proficiency with SysML and Cameo u2022 Experience with modern engineering practices such as Cross-Functional Agile teams and Capability-based planning u2022 Experience with Systems Engineering tools such as JIRA, and Confluence. u2022 Ability to interact with software developers to ensure mission requirements are satisfied u2022 Active TS/SCI Security Clearance #LMSpaceSystemsEng Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
