QA Inspector CMM Programmer Pay: $34-46/Hour Location: Auburn, WA Shift: 6AM-6PM Friday-Sunday Job Description We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented QA Inspector CMM Programmer with expertise in CMM programming and operations. This role involves working closely with aerospace manufacturing processes to ensure quality standards and customer specifications are met. Responsibilities + Generate CMM programs from CATIA models using PC-DMIS. + Verify the first part of production for conformance utilizing specifications, drawings, and customer workmanship standards. + Generate procedures and work instructions that meet regulatory and customer-driven requirements. + Perform First Article Inspections of initial production runs per requirements. + Perform CMM inspection utilizing customer-supplied models and drawings. + Create and provide training methodologies surrounding the use and functions of the CMM to shop personnel. + Verify and approve drawings and mylars using customer-supplied digital data. + Ensure quality standards are met throughout production runs. + Verify specifications concerning products upon arrival used for production. + Complete required quality system reports and forms. + Interface with customer representatives for evaluation of nonconforming products as needed. + Coordinate planning operations as a result of nonconformances and opportunities for improvements. + Conduct other inspection activities as required such as in-process inspection, finish inspection, and other dimensional inspection support. Essential Skills + Minimum 3 years CMM Programming and Operating experience. + Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. + Knowledge of Geometric and Dimensional Tolerancing. + Aerospace experience. + PCDMIS experience. + Strong mathematical skills and experience with solving simple trigonometry-based formulas. + Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, CNC equipment, and quality standards. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Knowledge of Catia and CAD. + Experience with ISO 9000/AS 9100, FAA regulations, part inspections and conformities. + Experience with the proper use of inspection equipment, corrective/preventative actions, root cause analysis, internal auditing, and vendor quality surveillance. + Supplier development and customer quality support experience. + Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. + Excellent internal/external customer service skills. + Time management skills and ability to complete tasks/projects with minimal supervision. + Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment. The role requires weekend shifts from 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Friday to Sunday. The environment is fast-paced, demanding precision and adherence to quality standards. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $34.43 - $46.58/hr.
