You will demonstrate your ability to collaborate as a team member with physicians, clinical dietitians, nursing staff, and others. You will apply your enthusiastic, supply and food-centric attitude in the performance of a variety of routine functions from processing orders, preparing menu modifications and performing expiration date maintenance for your assigned area.Depending on assigned location, you may be required to lift a maximum of 50 lbs. and operate a non-electric pallet jack at a receiving dock with open doors to changing weather conditions.Responsibilities:Maintains and inventories stock suppliesVerifies materials and receipts documentation against purchase orderInputs purchase order receipts; coordinates with Purchasing to resolve purchase order or receipt discrepanciesPackages, and processes supplies and materials being returned to vendors or other facilities and coordinates shipping locationOrders supplies, prepares packaged food items, ensures proper food safety and sanitation standards are met, and maintain refrigerated and freezer stockEnsures all food items are rotated, storeroom, walk-in coolers and walk-in freezer are clean and food safety complaintRequirements:Two (2) years of any combination of cook/food service/purchasing experienceWashington State Food handlers CardBasic computer knowledge preferredOur ValuesAs a MultiCare employee, we'll rely on you to reflect our core values of Respect, Integrity, Stewardship, Excellence, Collaboration and Kindness.
