We're continually recognized as a 'Top Children's Hospital' by The Leapfrog Group, an independent hospital rating organization.FTE: 1.0, Shift: Days, Schedule: DaysPosition SummaryThe Certified Prosthetist Orthotist functions as an essential member of an interdisciplinary orthotic team, to provide the highest clinical standard of care to patients with disabling conditions of the limbs and spine and/or partial or total absence of a limb to the highest quality standards by providing orthotic or prosthetic devices that meet maximum fit, function, cosmetics and workmanship. The Certified Prosthetist Orthotist provides consultation, evaluation, casting, measurement and fitting of orthotic and prosthetic devices, and may design and construct/fabricate orthotics /prosthetics and/or supervise others constructing the devices. The Certified Prosthetist Orthotist monitors processes to ensure the accurate application of prescriptions, documentation and billing codes to maintain compliance with regulations related to delivery of orthotic and prosthetic devices.
