Ford Racing is seeking a software engineer to create applications that help not only the cars on track go faster but the engineers behind it develop faster. In this positionu2026 The role will consist of creating and supporting full stack applications in a cloud environment. This role will focus on organizing, distributing, and visualizing data to help Ford Racing win more races and championships. This is a hybrid role and requires at least 4 days per week in the Allen Park, MI or Concord, NC office. What you'll do... + Ingest and organize engineering and race data (.Net, Rust) + Create data visualization tools per internal customer request (Angular) + Create and support CI/CD pipelines (Terraform) + Write clean, maintainable, and well documented code + Ensure security and scalability of systems You'll have... + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other relevant technical discipline (Master's degree preferred). + 5+ years of experience in software architecture, cloud engineering, or enterprise systems design, preferably in a motorsports setting. Even better, you may haveu2026 + Strong proficiency writing REST APIu2019s in a strongly typed language (preferably C#(.Net), Rust, C++, GO) + Experience with component style front ends (Angular, React, etc) + Deep experience with SQL (Preferably Postgresql). + Advanced GIT user. + Experience with Tekton. + Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform). + Working knowledge of containerization (Docker, Podman). + Experience with Redis, Pub/Sub, Kafka. + Working knowledge of physics and/or motorsports.
