Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to collaborate with classroom personnel in developing, implementing, and monitoring educational and clinical programs that support occupational therapy goals for students K-8th grade with autism and related disabilities. This role focuses on delivering effective therapy interventions, fostering student independence, and ensuring alignment with individualized education plans (IEPs) and organizational standards. Responsibilities: u2022 Communicate effectively with students, parents, and team members using various modes while adhering to ethical and legal standards (AOTA Code of Ethics, FERPA). u2022 Collaborate with the Occupational Therapist and IEP team to develop, implement, and monitor measurable, age-appropriate therapy goals. u2022 Plan and deliver occupational therapy sessions aligned with classroom activities, maintaining accurate documentation and reports. u2022 Provide consultation and support to families and outside agencies, attend IEP meetings, and adapt/create equipment as needed. Participate in professional development, comply with organizational policies, and perform additional duties as assigned, including substitute roles.
