Job Description Insight Global is seeking ESS Technicianu2019s for a contract position at the Moody Air Force Base and Offutt Air Force Base. This role focuses exclusively on the installation, wiring, device mounting, and physical deployment of access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and related security technologies. The ESS Technician will support the US military programs and will provide exceptional technical support services for complex physical security system installations at military bases and government facilities. u2022u2003Experience with installing conduit, pulling cables, terminating cables is essential. Install power supplies, enclosures, mounting hardware, conduit, raceways, and cable management solutions u2022u2003Experience with installing various ESS door hardware is a plus u2022u2003Experience mounting cameras, card readers, door contacts, sensors, card readers, etc., and wiring, terminating cables to these devices u2022u2003Provide technical skills to install, repair, and/or upgrade electronic/electrical components comprising multifaceted integrated security systems u2022u2003Experience troubleshooting security system components and systems installation is a plus u2022u2003Work safely and in full compliance with applicable regulations, including 385-1-1 safety requirements, job-site protocols, PPE standards, and company safety policies. u2022u2003Utilize drawings, diagrams, schematics, specifications, standards, technical manuals, and manufacturer guides/instructions to ensure security equipment is installed, configured, and maintained in accordance with functional and operational requirements. u2022u2003Support BCF engineering, management, and other personnel during meetings, reviews, and technical interchanges with Government representatives to design, document, acquire, install, integrate, modify, test and deliver high-performance integrated security systems. u2022u2003Assist BCF engineering in analyzing customeru2019s operational and functional technical requirements to support the preparation and submission of design packages for the installation of electronic security equipment. u2022u2003Ensure equipment is installed in accordance with all applicable electrical codes, government directives, safety regulations, and other applicable documents. u2022u2003Prepare and update documentation, as required, to capture site specific data that comprises the installation baseline. Provide input to change requests and incorporate and document approved changes to the installed baseline and supporting artifacts. u2022u2003Assist with quality control, configuration management, and equipment logistics of the installed system. u2022u2003Must be able to travel to remote sites and locations, often for extended periods of time, in support of program objectives u2022u2003Present a professional demeanor and appearance, representing BCF positively to customers, partners, and end-users in all situations We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
