Job Title: Assembler Job Description Join a leading innovator in robotic automation and material handling equipment as a Mechanical Assembler. You will work with cutting-edge technology to build and assemble equipment primarily for the Food and Beverage and Chemical industries. Collaborate with a dynamic team to deliver quality workmanship and contribute to the company's success. Responsibilities + Build machinery using machine drawings, assembly drawings, control schematics, and bills of materials, while solving problems as needed. + Engage in efforts to reduce or eliminate non-value-added work throughout the organization. + Proficiently use hand tools for structural assembly, mechanical drive assembly, fluid control assembly, guard and cover assembly, mechanical assembly, and simple electrical assembly, ensuring quality workmanship and efficiency. + Conduct quality assurance checks according to Blue Book standards. + Provide accurate documentation, including labor reporting, material issue/returns, material moves, and material scrap reports. + Execute inventory re-ordering policies, including 'Kanban'. + Prepare equipment for shipment, which may include machine teardown. Voluntary overtime may be available on Fridays or Saturdays. The facility is clean and well-lit, with assemblers working in groups of 2-6. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Randolph, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $23.50/hr.
