Lead Quality Technician Job Description The Lead Quality Technician is responsible for overseeing and performing sanitation activities to ensure compliance with company standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and safety regulations. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, and leadership skills to guide the sanitation team effectively. Responsibilities u00b7 Lead sanitation team during assigned shifts. u00b7 Responsible for effective sanitation of the various plant equipment and departments. u00b7 Must be able to follow equipment cleaning instructions as listed in the Sanitation Procedures Manual. u00b7 Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. u00b7 Must become familiar with cleaning chemicals by name, function, and usage rate and become chemical certified. u00b7 Timely notification to Maintenance and/or Supervisor of equipment problems. u00b7 Notify Supervisor of actual or potential problems. u00b7 Must be able to follow verbal instructions from Supervisor. u00b7 Must be detail oriented and be able to work independently. u00b7 Responsible for compliance with GMPu2019s, proper sanitation, and housekeeping in area. u00b7 Responsible for use of required safety equipment and complying with proper safety procedures including wearing proper protective clothing, steal toe boots and safety googles at all times. Essential Skills + Knowledge of GMP standards. + bilingual Additional Skills & Qualifications + High school diploma with science classes and/or lab courses with 6 months to 1+ years of manufacturing experience in the food-related industry. + 0 to 2 years of quality experience is ideal but not mandatory. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fox Lake, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.25/hr.
