Infrastructure Engineer

Description Key Responsibilities u2022 Analyze complex IT business needs presented and recommend technical solutions; solve basic and complex IT malfunctions and performs troubleshooting u2022 Coordinate local area computer network activities, including back-up tapes, establishing, installing, specifying system requirements, and maintaining network users, user environment, directories and security u2022 Develop skills and knowledge to stay current with upcoming technology u2022 Perform analysis of network needs and contribute to design of network architecture, integration and installation u2022 Maintain network hardware and software, including servers, peripherals, network nodes, terminals; implement WAN connectivity to meet requirements u2022 Understand and ensure that the computer system platform provides sufficient computing resources to deliver the desired level of business performance u2022 Assists with establishing controls for systems access and security u2022 Conducts user training on an as-needed basis for clients and staff u2022 Hardware and software setup and other miscellaneous in-house setups u2022 Coordinates third party maintenance for network hardware, software and services Support the network department in an administrative function during downtime for activities such as network department customer care calls, offering network services to clients, u2022 Other duties as assigned Requirements Minimum Requirements u2022 Extensive hands on network and computer troubleshooting experience u2022 Strong project management skills.
