Job Title: CNC Machinist Job Description As a CNC Machinist, you will program, set up, and operate CNC mills and lathes to manufacture precision components. Your role involves reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications, as well as selecting and installing appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials for machining operations. Responsibilities + Program, set up, and operate CNC mills and lathes to manufacture precision components. + Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications. + Select and install appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials for machining operations. + Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance. + Monitor machine operations, making adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency. + Inspect finished products to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards. + Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and company policies. + Collaborate with team members, engineers, and supervisors to optimize production processes. + Document production activities, machine performance, and any issues encountered. Essential Skills + Experience in blueprint reading and interpretation. + Proficiency in CNC machine operation, including mills and lathes. + Ability to perform programming, setup, and operation of CNC equipment. + Knowledge of SolidWorks and Mastercam software. + Skill in performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with Mill & Lathe Operation and Setup, specifically with Haas machines. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oak Ridge, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00/hr.
