Material Handler u2013 Forklift Operator Location: Iowa City, IA Schedule: + 12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 rotation (every other weekend off) + Day & Night shifts available + Initial training on day shift for 1 week About the Role Weu2019re seeking an experienced Material Handler u2013 Forklift Operator to join our team in a fast-paced, climate-controlled manufacturing environment. In this role, youu2019ll play a critical part in ensuring smooth material flow throughout the facility by operating forklifts, managing inventory, and supporting production teams. What Youu2019ll Do + Safely operate a sit-down forklift to move materials throughout the facility + Use RF scan gun to track and manage inventory accurately + Load and unload trailers efficiently and inspect inbound/outbound products for quality and accuracy + Assist machine operators by delivering raw materials and removing finished goods + Act as a team lead for material handling activities (no direct management responsibilities) + Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety protocols What Weu2019re Looking For + High School Diploma or GED + Minimum 6 months of manufacturing experience + At least 1 year of forklift operation experience + Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team-oriented environment Why Youu2019ll Love It + Competitive benefits package including 401(k), health, dental, and vision coverage + Paid holidays and company-sponsored outings + Work in a clean, climate-controlled facility + Dress Code: Steel-toed boots, jeans/khakis, and t-shirt (PPE provided) Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Iowa City, IA.
