With the creation of our new umbrella organization we now have our own identity with a unique payroll, benefits, performance management system, service recognition programs and other common practices across the system. _Position Summary:_ The department of Clinical Informatics leverages our uniquely equipped Physician and Nurse Informaticists to promote and improve the utilization of innovative technologies consistent with the goals and objectives of clinical and strategic initiatives of the organization and to support care transformation. We serve as liaisons between Clinicians and Information Technology to align clinical standards with IT standards, and develop workflows, processes and policies. Our teams provide support to our Regions, Institutes, and councils as well as supporting and driving System wide projects that leverage innovation to achieve healthcare transformation. _Position Responsibilities:_ Key Areas of Responsibility u00b7 Assist in strategic project movement, including participating in meetings, reviewing documents, aligning resources, and interfacing between the build team and clinical colleagues. u00b7 Collaborate with project teams on initiatives including building workflows, documenting workflows, and planning meeting agendas. u00b7 Manage work group meetings and participate in system committees and task forces. Provide advice and support to requestors. Assist with clinical communication, rounding with nursing, and translating clinical requests into actionable SBARs. u00b7 Analyze data and identify trends to inform the selection and implementation of new technologies and processes. u00b7 Develop and implement change management strategies to guide the clinical teams through the transition to new tools and systems. u00b7 Collaborate with the Center for AI Innovation in Healthcare to ensure alignment and understanding of potential AI applications within our system u00b7 Advocate for the ethical and responsible use of technology in healthcare, prioritizing patient privacy and security. Education u00b7 Minimum: Bacheloru2019s degree in Nursing or Clinical Specialty. Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration, or either related field or equivalent work experience u00b7 Preferred: MSN, MS, MBA or advance degree in Informatics with major coursework in Clinical Specialty, Computer Science, Analytics or healthcare management. Experience u00b7 Minimum: o Five years relevant experience in a challenging healthcare environment, including demonstrated successful management of program, teams. o Strong analytics skills, written and verbal communication skills and customer service experience in a health care setting. u00b7 Preferred: o Outstanding knowledge of Healthcare clinical operations. u00a7 Three (3-5) years Electronic Medical Record experience, Epic preferred u00a7 Three (3) years of experience with a variety of clinical systems & technologies including mobile devices, remote monitoring, virtual health, analytics and innovation desirable u00a7 Three (3) years of project leadership experience u00a7 Experience working with Lean or Six Sigma in a project role. Licensure, Certification, Registration u00b7 Minimum: Active professional licensure (RN, APRN, or other Clinical Specialty) in the State of Connecticut u00b7 Preferred: Informatics or other specialty certification in related field. Project Management Professional certification, Change Management Methodology and Change Management Methodology, LEAN Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements u00b7 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. u00b7 Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong business relationships. u00b7 Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. u00b7 Strong financial acumen, proven ability to connect the linkages of the project results to the financial and business benefits. u00b7 Persuasive, collaborative business acumen with the ability to influence others. u00b7 Executive presentation skills and ability to communicate with all levels. u00b7 Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities. u00b7 Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced working environment. u00b7 Knowledge of project and change management principles and terms. u00b7 Requires advanced computer skills (e.g., generating spreadsheet or word processing macros; developing templates for use by other team members; preparing presentations). u00b7 Demonstrated leadership, facilitation and networking skills with an ability to identify and solve operational problems and support the mission and vision of HHC. Demonstrated experience with Lean methodology and Project management u00b7 Demonstrated service excellence and customer service orientation u00b7 Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize in accordance with changing deadlines and priorities.
