Job Details Job Location: 845 SW 1st Ave - Canby, OR Salary Range: $16.30 - $20.27 Hourly Assistant Manager OR Position Summary: The Assistant General Manager (AGM) Provides additional management coverage of operating hours and direct supervision of operations to an individual Taco Bell unit. Like the Restaurant General Manager, they are accountable for the organized, efficient, and profitable operation of their restaurant by achieving and maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hospitality, accuracy, building maintenance, product quality and speed of service. The AGM directly performs hands on operational work on an ongoing basis to train employees, respond to guest service needs or otherwise role model appropriate skills and behaviors in their restaurant. Duties and Responsibilities: u2022 Greet customers with a friendly demeanor and accurately take their orders. u2022 Prepare and package food and drink products according to restaurant standards. u2022 Operate cash registers, process payments, and provide change to guests. u2022 Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the restaurant including back of house (the line), lobby, and restrooms. u2022 Assist with food prep and dishwashing as needed. u2022 Restock inventory and supplies. u2022 Manage shifts to ensure fair employee treatment and compliance with workplace laws and regulations. u2022 Offers ongoing coaching and feedback to team members. u2022 Find, hire, and develop Taco Bell employees and guide new team members during onboarding. u2022 Assist with any safety concerns in the workplace. u2022 Reports any serious issues to their manager and HR as needed. u2022 Conducts food safety and prep audits daily. u2022 Conducts daily inventory monitors performance and shares responsibility for cash procedures. u2022 Assist with schedule creation and deploying the team correctly. u2022 Monitor speed of service and resolve bottlenecks to achieve goals. u2022 Monitors inventory and food preparation on a daily basis to adhere to company standards. u2022 Responsible for daily inventory, deliveries, restaurant opening and closing, and daily adjustments to shift staffing and crew deployment. u2022 Analyzes sales, labor, inventory, and controllable expenses on a continual basis and takes corrective action to meet or achieve margins and sales targets. Maintains day to day responsibility for cash procedures such as bank deposits, making change, opening and Qualifications Knowledge and Skill Requirements: u2022 Must be at least 18 years old or older. u2022 Strong preference for an internal promote who has completed all required learning zone training and certifications. u2022 High school diploma or GED is required. u2022 Possess a minimum of 6 months in a shift management or supervisory role, preferably in a service-related business. u2022 Legal right to work in the United States. u2022 Have open availability and the ability to work flexible hours and all shifts as needed. u2022 Basic math and reading skills. u2022 Excellent oral and written communication skills u2022 Ability to learn quickly with a can-do attitude. u2022 Comes to work with good hygiene. u2022 Has reliable transportation and able to arrive to work on time. u2022 Demonstrated ability to maintain financial controls and coach and train employees. u2022 A positive, friendly, and courteous attitude.
