Responsibilities + Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment failures on aircraft ground support equipment. + Perform complex diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on customer and/or company-owned equipment. + Diagnose engine mechanical issues and repair (Diesel, Gas, and LP). + Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic start systems using necessary schematics. + Utilize diagnostic software to troubleshoot Powertrain Management Systems. + Complete vehicle repair orders and other documentation accurately to maintain quality standards. + Communicate safety concerns and customer requests for service to management. + Perform other duties as assigned by management. Essential Skills + 2+ years of experience in automotive or heavy equipment maintenance. + Proficiency in using hand tools for repair and maintenance tasks. + Strong troubleshooting skills in engines, hydraulics, and preventive maintenance. + Valid driver's license and ability to comply with DOT policies. + Ability to obtain and maintain an airport-issued ID badge. Additional Skills & Qualifications + High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification/diploma preferred. + ASE certification preferred. + Basic tool set required; power tools will be provided. Work Environment You will work a second shift from Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with the possibility of overtime. The role is initially contract-based, with potential for permanent hire based on performance and attitude.
